Farewell and thank you

To the Hudson Valley Campus Community,

I consider myself very fortunate to have spent the last eight years at this college and helping to lead the football program. Although our game results were not always as I would have wished, I feel we were able to accomplish a lot of the goals I had set forth when I took over the program.

I have enjoyed seeing many of the positive changes this campus has undergone; these have been exciting times for this college. I have witnessed the construction of the new science building, the beginning of the new manufacturing building, the construction of the Outdoor Athletic Complex, the renovations to the landscape between the Siek Campus Center and McDonough, the renovations to Fitzgibbons, and many other changes to the campus and the community. It’s amazing to think back and realize all of the changes the college has undergone, and that’s just the campus itself, not even touching upon the great people who make up this community.

I have been fortunate to get to know many different people on campus over the years. It would be impossible for me to list everyone past and present who have helped me find a home here in Hudson Valley. There have been so many people who have made me feel welcome and helped me in having a positive impact in preparing all of our student-athletes for their future endeavors. It is all of these people that have helped to make the decision to leave Hudson Valley so difficult for me. The reality is that we have come so far and made such important steps in the right direction that I am confident the football program will only improve, even in the wake of my departure. So many people have invested their time and efforts in our program over the course of the last eight years, and I know they will continue to do so to see this program and this college succeed.

Hudson Valley and the Hudson Valley family will always hold a special place in my heart. I only ask that you continue to support our student-athletes in the future as I know you have during my time here. I’m proud to have been a Viking, and I will always remember to be Bold.
